State of the art software, KadFrame, is a part of a total solution for chemical process automation that includes: batching and continues weighing systems, reactors, process control, spray dryer, and the material handling control. KadFrame is a user friendly Human Machine Interface, HMI, with 4 basic features: 1- Graphical user interfaces 2 - Field communicating and data      acquisition. 3- Controller software thread 4 - Process data logging As a user interface, KadFrame includes pre-designed graphical control elements suitable for any process in detergents and chemical production lines with the online calibration capabilities. Field communication takes place through three different channels at the same time:

- KadFrame acts as an OPC client to communicate with most PLCs and stand alone controllers and transmitters via OPC Server.
- KadFrame also supports Modbus Communication protocol to communicate with the field instruments, controllers, and distributed IO boards.
- KadFrame includes the drivers for digital / analog IO Data Acquisition Cards, DAS, installed in the PC to control the processes.

As a PC based controller software, KadFrame has its own software PLC to apply the specific control algorithms in a PC based environment.

Finally, KadFrame is a process data logger.
It serves as a data logger and gives the following database facilities in .mdb format:

• Formula (recipe) table which includes unlimited predefined recipes
• Work shift table that keeps all information about the production in a work shift. Managerial information such as consumed materials, No. of work cycles, date and time of the work shift, waste time, and operators ID
• Alarm table which keeps and reports the occurred alarms during the work shift 
• Calibration table includes specific editable data for each device.
